Your microphone audio
When you hum a tune, the recording is analyzed entirely inside your browser. Hum to Search converts your hum into a small numeric melody fingerprint on your device. The raw audio of your voice is never uploaded, stored, or sent to any server.
What is sent to the server
Only the numeric melody fingerprint (a 128-number vector) is sent to our search API to find matching songs. It contains no audio and cannot be used to reconstruct your voice. We do not log or persist search queries.
Cookies and tracking
Hum to Search does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. No account is required to use the tool.
